Polyhedron 119 is known as a
Dodecahedron and is made from
Honduras Mahogany. It measures
17-5/8" in diameter and in the stand it
sits 15-1/8” high. Each of its 12 faces
are made of 5 isosceles triangles for a total of 60 pieces. It appears to be made of light
and dark pieces but in fact all are the same. The matching stand is made of 5 pieces whose angles are complementary to the dodecahedron.
Completed on October 7th, 2002.
