Cube 138 (Hexahedron)
Polyhedron 138 is known as a
Hexahedron or Cube and is made of
Purple Heart, a very hard and heavy
wood from South America. It measures
12-1/4” in diameter and sits in the stand 13-1/4” high. When freshly cut, this wood looks brown. Within a matter of days after being
exposed to light and air, the color changes to a brilliant purple and then tones down to the beautiful color seen here.
