Polyhedron 112, known as a
Hexahedron or Cube, is made from
Honduras mahogany recycled from an old door. It has 6 faces consisting of 72 isosceles triangles, a diameter of 12-9/16” and sits 13-1/8” high in the stand. All the triangles are the same color even though some appear dark and others light. The optical haracteristics of the wood cause this shift in color depending upon the angle and intensity of the light source.

          Completed April 4th 2002.
